In this interview, she shares what makes her work so rewarding, how she approaches sales, and why Cordeo means more to her than just a job.
From demos to profound client relationships
Mara is often the first face potential clients associate with Cordeo. Whether she’s giving an online demo or meeting clients on-site, she loves showing the true value of our software.
“What I enjoy most? Connecting with new clients and giving demos. That’s when I can really show how our software makes a difference,” she says with a smile. Her personal approach helps her understand clients deeply and offer tailored advice that truly fits their needs.
“When you fully stand behind a product, selling it becomes incredibly rewarding, because you know you’re offering a great solution that will genuinely help an organisation.”
A day in the life: variety and collaboration
No two days are the same. One day, Mara is out visiting clients; the next, she’s behind her screen fine-tuning sales processes or exploring new leads. “I always prepare thoroughly. I dive into the organisation and try to anticipate what questions might come up,” she explains. She also values collaboration:
“Sales only works when the whole team is moving in the same direction.”

Sales with transparency and a personal touch
Mara’s sales approach is all about clarity and customisation.
“We offer a standard software solution, but we tailor it entirely to the client’s needs. That’s why it’s so important to stay in close contact and really understand what they’re looking for.”
She usually starts with a short, accessible email and brochure, followed by a call and a demo, often in person, but online is also an option.
“I never try to follow a strict script. Listening well is much more important. That’s how we can really respond to what the client needs.”
Proud of results, and of new opportunities
Mara speaks with pride about a major client she recently brought in: Saffier. “That process went really smoothly, and the collaboration has been great.”
She’s also enthusiastic about planting seeds, even when it doesn’t immediately lead to a deal: “Those openings are valuable: that’s how you build relationships.”
Personality and passions
Mara describes herself as caring, with a strong sense of determination. She works from her gut, though she balances that with a clear, rational perspective: a combination that makes her sales approach both personal and goal-oriented. Outside of work, she loves diving into music and cherishes time with her family.
