Notification & Registration Modules

Cordeo has developed two modules to improve your processes.

Notification module

The first one is a notification module. Users can subscribe to certain subjects and when a publication is created with this subject, they will receive a message.

This function can be used for two main purposes.

Inform members of a specific user group about new publications

To share documents optimally, some users should be informed when a new document is published.

With publication notification it is possible to inform users about new publications by e-mail. These notifications are sent once a day at a predefined time. All new publications published since the last notification are combined in one e-mail.

The e-mail looks like this:

Remind approvers about pending approvals

It often happens that approvers forget about their pending approvals. They receive an email with an approval request and decide to look into this later. This results in long waiting times for users who submit orders or documents for approval.

With approval reminders it is possible to send reminders of pending approvals after a predefined number of days. This is repeated each day until the approval is finished.

User Registration Module

The second one is a registration module. People can fill in a form and a user account will be generated automatically with the right authorizations.

The user needs to fill in required user data such as the username, first name, last name, e-mail address, etc. To set the correct authorizations a business unit, department, etc. has to be selected. Furthermore it is possible to add a default cost center.

Before the form is sent, the domain name of the e-mail address is checked against the predefined settings. When a form is sent, the admin will be notified of the new registrations.
