Recently DSM Composite Resins, European market leader in structural resins, recognized that they had a significant collateral management problem. For a variety of reasons including mergers, acquisitions and product changes, their printed material quickly became outdated and obsolete. Equally troubling to the firm was the fact that large amounts of collateral material was being discarded without ever being used.

DSM Composite Resins had been sending a static quarterly newsletter to all customers and prospects (in English). Due to the diverse end-user readership it was not possible for a single magazine to fullfil the information needs of every target group. A decision was therefore taken to produce market-segmented newsletters via PoD.

Baan Alliance Catalog: Better, Faster, Cheaper

The creation of the Alliance Catalog used to be a very tough, costly and inefficienct process for Baan (now part of SSA Global). Baan has asked Cordeo to implement its solution. Building the catalog is now a process of seconds rather than weeks. And it is also possible to build customized, partial, catalogs containing a subset of data.
